Apple has developed a new app called Apple Invites that is intended to make event planning easier for iPhone users and surprisingly, non-Apple users as well.
Apple Invites uses components of other well-known apps to produce a unique, interactive event invitation that anybody may use.
You can use the app to make and distribute personalized invitations, handle RSVPs, add photo albums, and even work together on event playlists using Apple Music.
Although you can manage invites using the Apple Calendar app currently, this is a better experience. Regardless of whether they have an Apple account or device, anyone can respond to invitations. However, you will need to have an iCloud+ subscription to properly create an invitation. A variety of tools are available in Apple Invites to improve the event-organizing experience.
Using Apple Invites is very simple. You can also use Apple Intelligence to produce original illustrations on image playground. After that, just include any relevant information, such as the event’s date, time, and description. Note that the idea of Apple Invites is not new. For a time now, similar apps like Sendo, Paperless Post, Evite, and Partiful have been active in this market. But Apple Invites might stand out because of Apple’s large user base and extensive reach in the technology ecosystem.
How Apple Invites Function
Although there is currently no cap on the number of events you can arrange, the service is restricted to 100 guests per event. All iPhone models running iOS 18 or later can download Apple Invites for free from the App Store. It is also available online.
With features like guest list management and viewing, link-based invitation sharing, and preview customization, hosts have complete control over their events. No Apple account or iCloud+ subscription is required for guests to reply to invitations via the app or online.
Anyone can receive an invitation and RSVP; regardless of the device being used. But, to create an invitation, you must be an iCloud+ subscriber (plans start at $0.99 per month). You don’t want to pay for yet another service if you don’t already have an iCloud+ subscription. Think about looking into some of the options suggested above.
