Apple may release the iPhone SE 4 as the iPhone 16E

According to reports, Apple may release the iPhone SE 4 as the iPhone 16E. Amidst rumors of iPhone 17, the iPhone SE 4 is anticipated to be the next iPhone model that Apple announces, most likely in March. However, the most recent reports indicate that the device will be known by a different name when it is formally released.

According to tipsters Majin Bu and Fixed Focus Digital, the phone will be called the iPhone 16E. This naturally corresponds with the names of the four iPhone 16 phones that are currently on the market, which Apple released in September.

As rumors are by definition not always accurate, keep in mind that neither of these sources has a flawless track record. But it’s a naming scheme change that doesn’t appear to be excessively unlikely for Apple.

The SE stands for Special Edition, and we have seen three iPhone SE phones thus far. The most recent of these was the iPhone SE 3, which was released in 2022. Without giving any of these phone numbers, Apple has just referred to them as the iPhone SE.

According to Majin Bu, Some notable improvements are anticipated in the upcoming model, including an OLED screen, Face ID for the first time on a SE phone, and an increase to 8GB of RAM, which will enable the phone to use Apple Intelligence capabilities.
