Veeam Software has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Securiti AI, a leader in Data Security Posture Management (DSPM), which encompasses privacy, governance, access, and AI trust across hybrid, multi-cloud, and SaaS environments, for $1.725 billion.
By acquiring Securiti AI, Veeam addresses the challenge of managing fragmented data across various applications, clouds, SaaS services, endpoints, and backups. CIOs, CISOs, and CDOs will possess a centralised command centre to comprehensively manage and grasp all their data, ensuring its security with minimal data loss or operational disruptions, while accurately recovering and rolling back data and AI, and confidently driving AI innovation.
This unified control plane, spanning production and secondary data, allows organisations to consistently manage their entire data environment by integrating Veeam’s reliable data resilience features with Securiti AI’s data privacy, and AI trust capabilities.
