Several digital platforms have been launched to bring the world of tech closer to Nigerians in education, sports, and other fields.
In a landmark event hailed as ‘Africa’s Silicon Valley moment’, Arigo Technologies, an indigenous firm founded by Dr Arinze Madueke, has made global history by simultaneously launching seven new digital platforms.
The launch drew top dignitaries, investors and media executives to Lagos. It was a spectacular showcase of ambition and innovation.

The platforms are designed to tackle diverse challenges in Africa, ranging from commerce to sports and mental health.
A Vision to Solve Common Problems
According to Dr Madueke, the entire project was founded on solving common problems for people in Africa and the diaspora.
“I have been to places like San Francisco and London and have never seen where what is happening today has happened before. We are particularly excited that these technologies are coming from Nigeria, from Africa,” he said.
Each platform is a piece of a larger ecosystem with its unique mission. For instance, MyArigo.com is a professional network and business marketplace created to build trust in online commerce. It verifies businesses to ensure that people buy from genuine sellers in a remote market in Nigeria or anywhere. It also includes AI-integrated tools to help businesses.
Also, there is FutbolConect.com, which helps young talent overcome the struggle to gain visibility. It is an AI-driven scouting hub that connects aspiring African footballers directly with scouts, coaches, and clubs in Europe and beyond.
Miamour.me is another one built to address the alarming rate of divorce and mental health issues. The platform provides a confidential space for individuals and couples to seek therapy and counselling from professionals.
Furthermore, Ijeuwa.com is a social media platform designed for real-time, authentic storytelling. Unlike platforms that thrive on controversy, this one focuses on sharing inspiring, genuine experiences. It provides real-time information to users in Nigeria and abroad.
There is CribsAndRides.com for luxury real estate and automobiles, and Twy.app, an Agentic AI brand seamlessly integrated across all Arigo’s platforms.
Combating ‘School is a Scam’ Mentality
The launch also introduced a new online education platform, Able Global, to revolutionise the education system. It aims to combat the growing sentiment among many young people that ‘school is a scam’.
Mr Madueke states, “We believe that a person’s passion to learn should not die because they lack the funds.”
“Able Global makes education pocket-friendly with the only core requirement for entry being a stable internet connection, ” he added.
This low-cost, high-accessibility model is presented as a crucial alternative to traditional schooling. The platform’s business model is centred on connecting students directly with reputable institutions.
“The institution will teach you only what you want,” Madueke stated, highlighting that students are not receiving generic online content. Instead, they are enrolled in and taught by the specific schools they choose, ensuring that the quality and credibility of their degrees are never compromised.
Furthermore, its ‘marketplace’ model is a key feature that distinguishes ‘Able Global’ from conventional distance learning. It allows users to choose the school and course of their choice. They have forged a partnership with various institutions to educate students from bachelors to doctoral degrees.

Applause and Challenges to the Government
The launch drew immense praise from attendees who were astonished by the sheer scale of achievement. Many of them, utterly blown away, called the feat ‘unprecedented’. Also, several of them acknowledged FutbolConect.com and EduGlobal International for their potential to revolutionise their respective industries using AI and blockchain.
Mrs Ukah Medina of the National Institute for Sports echoed this sentiment. She stated that the launch proves Africa is no longer just a consumer of technology, but a creator and a leader in the global digital economy.
“This indicates that we are now a leader and a creator in the worldwide digital economy,” Uka noted. She added that the project’s ambition would motivate numerous other entrepreneurs to expand their thinking and create for an international audience.

The event ended with a standing ovation, commemorating a watershed moment. It shines the spotlight on Nigerian and African ingenuity. She encouraged everyone to pursue their aspirations with passion, as that the platform provides access to reliable, high-quality education.
The business model of Able Global distinguishes it from typical remote education. This model enables users to select their preferred school from numerous partner institutions, offering programs ranging from Bachelors to Doctorates.
Cheers and a Call to Action for the Government
Dr. Madueke mentioned that the platforms were created over five years with extensive testing, intellectual labour, huge investment, and personal dedication. He commended the government’s ongoing initiatives to assist the tech ecosystem.
Also, he urged increased government participation in technology events and a more supportive environment with better infrastructure and policy frameworks to assist innovators and startups in succeeding.
