Vitel Wireless Limited has emerged as Nigeria’s latest GSM Operator, licensed by the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC). The telco has officially commenced nationwide operations, marking a significant advancement in Nigeria’s telecommunications industry.

He stated that Vitel Wireless is leading a new era in Nigeria’s mobile landscape. It will achieve this through IoT-enabled devices and intelligent logistics solutions, as well as AI-enhanced safety analytics,

He mentioned that the telecom company has partnered with all leading Mobile Network Operators (MNOs) in Nigeria, including MTN, Airtel, and Glo, and has established a roaming agreement with MTN for nationwide expansion, thereby enhancing Vitel Wireless coverage as one of Nigeria’s most extensive networks. It has collaborated with NCC and multiple law enforcement agencies to establish and strengthen essential regulatory frameworks that currently oversee the country’s telecommunications sector, with a focus on personal and public safety.

The Executive Director emphasised that this experience has distinctly established Vitel Wireless as a technological collaborator and a regulatory supporter, integrating the knowledge, framework, and creativity essential for driving Nigeria’s upcoming stage of digital advancement.

“Our efforts extend beyond delivering voice and data services. We are creating a platform that combines intelligence, safety, and efficiency — allowing both individuals and systems to operate more effectively. “This is how we achieve genuine digital transformation,” he continued.
