It’s clear that numerous phone brands, such as OPPO, Xiaomi, and HONOR, are developing ultra-slim smartphones inspired by Apple’s iPhone Air. Motorola has announced its competitor to the iPhone Air, the Moto X70 Air, scheduled to launch in late October.

The device was showcased on Motorola’s Weibo account, highlighting a sleek profile with straight edges. The gadget has buttons on the right side and a protruding dual-camera setup. The model revealed by Motorola features a green finish with bronze camera details. The phone is designed with a stylish, lightweight appearance. Although its launch in China is assured, the timeline for global availability is still uncertain.

Moto X70 Air Set to Launch Next Month

Motorola’s rival to the iPhone Air is set to launch next month, and it will be named the Moto X70 Air. This isn’t just a rumour; it’s official news. Motorola verified this through its official Weibo account.

Motorola posted a picture of the device on Weibo, which is shown below. It’s apparent that the company not only borrowed the ‘Air’ name from Apple, but the device’s presentation is also quite similar.

The company announced in a Weibo post that the phone will be released at the end of October. No specific launch date was given, so we must wait a while.

We are also unsure if this phone will reach international markets. It might, but it’s likely to debut in China initially. Thus, we must be patient and observe the outcome.

Motorola’s picture of the Moto X70 Air reveals the phone from its right side. It will be noticeably slim, with its physical buttons positioned on the right side. The power/lock button can be seen here, positioned beneath the volume up and down buttons.

The phone’s camera area is also pronounced and is noticeably higher than the rear side. The phone will contain at least two cameras, as we can observe two camera bumps atop the camera area.

This model has a greenish hue and bronze-colored camera protrusions on the back. The device’s frame will mainly be flat, with slight curves at the edges.

Motorola isn’t the only brand set to launch a smartphone rival to the iPhone Air. Other brands, such as OPPO, Xiaomi, and HONOR, are reportedly developing their competitors’ smartphones.

Silicon-Carbon: The Emerging Battery Technology

The Moto X70 Air will likely use silicon-carbon batteries to achieve higher capacities while maintaining slim designs. The innovative silicon-carbon technology resolves a central issue of battery-using devices. With this new technology, we could soon witness a surge of ultra-slim smartphones entering the market.
