How to View Meta Connect Live
You can view the Meta Connect livestream video on Meta’s Horizon website or the Meta for developers Facebook page. In contrast to Apple and Google, Meta does not broadcast its conference keynote on YouTube.
If you’re an enthusiast of virtual reality, you can view the event via a VR headset. You can enjoy the show with a Meta Quest headset by navigating to the Horizon page and choosing the VR viewing option.
As a developer, you can sign up for Connect by entering your name and email on the Meta Connect website. In the top-right corner, find a button that says “Register for the livestream.” Submit your details, and you will receive information regarding extra presentations and developer sessions.
Though the event may have its surprises, Meta did mishandle its unveiling earlier this week. It unintentionally leaked images of new glasses that appear set to be announced at Connect. The disclosed picture suggests that Meta may release a new set of glasses with a real display integrated into the lenses.

Meta Connect: Previous Launches and Antecedents

The company demonstrated its impressive ability to create advanced wearable technologies during its Connect event last year. It introduced the prototype Orion frames that use a wristband for navigation and a wireless pad for connectivity and computing functions at last year’s Meta Connect. Last year’s frame design featured ‘waveguide technology’ to generate virtual displays of images, text, and videos visible to the wearer.
Developers have been using Orion frames for a year, indicating that the technology is probably prepared for its next phase. We expect new versions of the smart glasses created by Meta and its key brand partners, Ray-Ban and Oakley.
