Humanoid robotics company, Agibot announced a new program that allows individuals and businesses to rent its robots, rather than purchasing them outright. The rental service will be available in 17 markets, including the United States and numerous European countries. While the initial announcement was made in Europe with prices quoted in euros, the company has confirmed to BGR that a dedicated rental platform for the U.S. market will launch later this month, signalling its intent to expand its presence in America.
The rental program is positioned as a strategic move to make advanced robotics more accessible and mainstream. Prices for Agibot’s humanoid robots typically exceed $20,000. The company’s rental program aims to eliminate cost barriers limiting access to robots. For now, the daily rental rate is $1,000.
Agibot envisions a wide range of applications for its rented robots, extending beyond industrial use into social and creative fields. Potential uses include serving as a school ambassador, a community promoter, or a tour guide at trade shows. The robots could also be integrated into video content creation, acting as extras in short films or participating in live streams, as well as performing as dancers or even functioning as part of a security patrol.
How to Rent Agibot’s Robot
The rental process is designed to be customer-friendly and efficient. Interested parties must submit a request to the company days before taking possession of the robot. Initial submission to on-site installation, can be completed in as little as two working days. Rather than requiring customers to choose from a complex portfolio of models, Agibot asks clients to describe their intended usage scenario—such as an exhibition, live stream, or security—and the company will then provide the most suitable robot for the task.
Flexibility is a key component of the program, with rental periods available for a single day or for longer-term leasing. To ensure a smooth experience and mitigate technical issues, Agibot also offers on-site technical support staff alongside the robots. This added service is intended to prevent malfunctions and provide peace of mind for renters who may not have expertise in robotics.
Customers Can Access Agibot’s Latest Models
Customers will have access to Agibot’s latest models through the rental program, including the newly introduced X2 Series. Unveiled at CES 2026, the X2 Series is focused on entertainment, research, and education. This new lineup joins the existing G2 Series, which is designed for industrial and factory work, and the D1 quadruped robots, which are versatile machines that can serve as a robotic pet, a carrying device, or a patrolling security guard.
