Business appears to be quite good for Anthropic, having landed a lucrative AI deal valued at $200 million with Snowflake.
Their collaboration aims to deliver agentic AI features to over 12,600 Snowflake clients, marking a significant partnership between a data cloud provider and an AI safety research organisation.
The firms says the deal will enhance technological integration and position Anthropic’s Claude models at the core of Snowflake’s package for enterprises.
Transforming Operations in Large Organisations with AI
Central to the partnership is a shared goal to enable large organisations to implement AI agents more effectively. They can manage large sensitive data with incredible accuracy. Snowflake’s regulated AI Data Cloud will now serve as the primary distribution platform for Anthropic’s latest Claude models, including Claude Sonnet 4.5 and Claude Opus 4.5.
Leaders from both companies emphasised the significance of the collaboration. They’re aiming to help enterprises transition from trial AI projects to comprehensive operational implementation.
Sridhar Ramaswamy, CEO of Snowflake, stated that Anthropic is a special partner with whom Snowflake has a mutual development plans.
Anthropic CEO and co-founder Dario Amodei described the deal as a significant advancement in making frontier AI “truly beneficial for companies.”
