The technology giant has unveiled Jetson Thor, a next-generation supercomputer designed to deliver real-time AI processing for humanoid robots and advanced intelligent machines.

Jetson Thor Represents a More Intelligent Mind for Humanoid Robots
Nvidia’s new Jetson Thor module is built to manage vast quantities of data while consuming less energy than its predecessor, Jetson Orin. Powered by cutting-edge Blackwell GPUs, the module offers over seven times the AI computational capability of conventional GPUs. This doubles the memory, and has greater than three times the speed and efficiency of regular GPUs.
This capability leap allows humanoid robots to process sensor data, improve visual reasoning, and instantly interact with people and their surroundings. Nvidia states that Jetson Thor addresses “one of the key challenges in robotics: enabling robots to come to life for real-time, intelligent interactions with humans and their surroundings.”

Who is Currently Using Jetson Thor?
The increase in performance is already attracting major tech firms. The initial ones consist of Amazon, Meta, Caterpillar, and Agility Robotics, a company focused on developing humanoid robots for warehouses and manufacturing facilities.
